Gwan-hoo‘s bumbling efforts to woo Hye-sung is actually pretty endearing. with his dorky charm, his sincere do-gooder attitude, his dogged pursuit of justice, his kind, sensitive heart, and his noble character beneath the slightly comical exterior. But this time, Gwan-woo, who nurses a warm regard for his colleague Hye-sung, is so much more than just the token rival. Usually, they just leave me cold, especially in the romance department. This maybe one of those rare times when I developed such a soft spot for the second lead. when he sees Hye-sung flirting with the cop-turned-lawyer, Gwan-woo (played to perfection by Yoon Sang-hyun). Soo-ha‘s boyishness also comes forth in less intense scenes…. Or, when he sees her prostrate body being carried to the ambulance.
